Projects
Youth Empowerment Mentorship Program
The organization also implements a mentorship program, targeting youth between 14-35 years of age. The objectives of the program are to promote positive outcomes for young people by providing opportunities, fostering positive relationships, and furnishing the support needed to build on their leadership strength and enhance their learning skills, and help build their self-esteem and self-control. Moreover, the program will build healthier lifestyle choices and help youth achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
Youth Development Forum: Future Skills Development
Through the Youth Development Forum: Future Skills Development, the organization hosts webinars and workshops sharing youth skills development information and conducting trainings, focusing on digital skills, green skills and vocational and technical skills. Access to information on skills development opportunities is imperative in ensuring that youth in Eswatini have the right skills in demand for both job and entrepreneur markets. Over 432 youth and stakeholders participated in the different activities.
Youth for SDGs Training for Community Development
The organization organizes trainings for youth involved in community development and the training seeks to address community and national development challenges as it is crucial to empower Eswatini youth to become active agents of change and contribute meaningfully to the achievement of the SDGs. The training aims to equip youth with the knowledge, skills, and tools to identify community challenges, develop innovative solutions, and implement sustainable projects aligned with the SDGs. This short training has the potential to create a significant positive impact on communities and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs by enhancing the capacity of youth leaders. With over 600 applications received, the organization has managed to train 12 youth leaders and is seeking more partnerships to reach more youth leaders.
